The "STEM Education for Innovation - Women in the forefront" conference will be held in Warsaw at the prestigious Copernicus Science Center, 31 May – 1 June 2016. It will be the biggest meeting of STEM experts, STEM educators, innovators, representatives of high tech industry, community leaders and policy makers in this part of Europe. Up to 350 participants are expected.
The debate will be on the importance of education in the STEM area and the need to give STEM priority in the state’s policy and in the activities of other stakeholders. The conference will also serve as a forum for the exchange of good practice. The Conference will attempt to answer how and why it is important to support women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) on all levels: social initiatives, public policy, education and support for social activity and strategy for socially responsible industry and business.
